Finding a pet-friendly condo in Bangkok is notoriously difficult. Most juristic persons (condo management) ban pets entirely. But a growing number of newer developments — especially in the pet-friendly trend wave of 2023–2026 — now welcome cats and small dogs.
Thai condominium law doesn't explicitly prohibit pets — the decision rests with the juristic person and the building's rules. Most buildings cite:
| Building | District | Pet Policy | Starting Price (1BR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Line Sukhumvit 71 | Phra Khanong | Cats + small dogs (<5kg) | 4.5M THB |
| Idea Mobi | Wongwian Yai | Cats + small dogs | 2.8M THB |
| The Room Sukhumvit 38 | Thonglor | Cats only | 5.5M THB |
| Rhythm Sukhumvit 42 | Ekkamai | Cats + small dogs | 6.0M THB |
| Chapter One Midtown | Ratchada | Cats + dogs (<10kg) | 3.2M THB |
On Nut (Sukhumvit 77) — The best budget-friendly option. Many older buildings have relaxed pet policies, and the area has several pet parks and vet clinics.
Thonglor-Ekkamai — Higher-end buildings with dedicated pet areas. Expect to pay a premium but get proper amenities like pet washing stations and dedicated pet lifts.
Ratchada-Huai Khwang — Emerging pet-friendly zone with newer buildings adopting progressive pet policies. More affordable than Sukhumvit.
